Scale Up Digital is the trading name of Youssef Mahmoud, an individual based in Egypt ("we," "us," or "our"). We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, your rights under GDPR and CCPA, and how your payment information is handled.
1.1 Information You Provide. When you submit a preview request or contact form, book a call, or purchase our Services, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, and details about your industry or project.
1.2 Payment Information. We invoice you directly and you pay by bank transfer or through a secure payment link operated by a third-party payment provider. This website does not collect, process, or store card details at any point — there is no checkout form here. Where you pay by card, the payment provider handles your card information under its own privacy policy, and we receive only confirmation that the payment succeeded, together with the billing name and the last four digits.
1.3 Automatically Collected Information. This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are viewed. It sets no cookies, does not follow you to other websites, and gives us aggregated figures only (such as page views, the site that referred you, country, and device type), not your identity. Our hosting provider also records standard server logs, including your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages requested, which are used for security and to keep the site online. We do not use advertising trackers.
1.4 Business Contact Details for Outreach. To offer our services, we collect contact details that businesses publish themselves — such as the business name, website, business email, phone number and licence details listed on their own website, Google Business Profile or state licence records — and use them to send one-to-one sales emails. We do not buy contact lists. Reply "stop" to any of our emails and we will stop contacting you and delete your details from our outreach list. If we have built a preview of a proposed website for your business, it is unlisted, kept out of search engines, and removed when you ask or when we stop following up.
1.5 Lead Forms on Client Websites. When we build a website for a client, submissions to that site's quote form are delivered to the client by email through our form provider. We handle them only to deliver them to the client, who decides how they are used and is responsible for that use.
We use the information we collect to respond to inquiries and preview requests; design, build, host, and maintain your website; process payments and manage your subscription; send service-related communications such as billing notices; send one-to-one sales emails to businesses as described in section 1.4; and improve our website and Services.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the UK, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (delivering the Services you purchased), legitimate interests (improving our website and preventing fraud), consent (marketing communications, where required), and compliance with legal obligations (such as tax and accounting records).
If GDPR applies to you, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; restrict or object to certain processing; request data portability; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of that information, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, so there is no sale or sharing to opt out of. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right. To submit a request, contact us using the details below.
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our Services, maintain business records, and comply with legal and tax obligations.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our website and Services are intended for business use and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We are based in Egypt and work with clients primarily in the United States. Our service providers, including hosting and payment processing, may store or process information in the United States or other countries. By using our Services, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed outside your country of residence.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision, and material changes will be noted on this page.
